I have loved taking pictures since I was a kid. I love to freeze in time all the details of the beautiful world around me. I would fill boxes with rolls of film, until we would finally send away to develop a whole bunch at once. I remember feeling so impatient waiting for them. I was so excited to see them! I would get antsy-pants when they finally came and I could open the packages of pictures and see what I had captured in time. I kept loving photography. My dad gifted me his camera from his teenage years, and I used it until it fell apart. (R.I.P. beautiful camera.) I took photography in Highschool, and still remember the smell of the dark room, and the utter joy watching the photos develop. I graduated to a big girl digital camera in 2021, and have been loving honing my skills through taking photos of pets, landscapes, families, individuals, and of course the beautiful details that I see all around me, every day, wherever I am. I love depth and reality in my pictures. I have and continue to enjoy this photography journey every day.
